    Product Description

When a fight breaks out at Fumizuki Academy, nobody throws a single punch. Instead, the students utilize the school’s technology to summon Avatars, pint-sized stand-ins with battle powers based on academic ability. That “academic ability” part is bad news for Yoshii – because Yoshii’s an idiot, stuck in lowly Class F with the slackers. If these misfits want to escape their dump of a classroom and earn some respect, they’ll have to fight their way up the ranks and take on Class A, the Academy’s brightest students. It’s going to be tough, that’s for sure. But once the underachievers of Class F get motivated, they don’t give up – and Yoshii can’t even spell surrender!

The romantic farce Baka and Test takes place at Fumizuki Academy, where high-school students summon computer-animated avatars to fight Summoner Test Wars in cyberspace--under faculty supervision. At the bottom of the intellectual pecking order is F Class, where the students sit on rotting tatami mats and use orange crates as desks, while their counterparts in A Class have computers and free snacks. At the bottom of F Class is Yoshii, a goodhearted kid whom everyone calls an idiot. But academic achievement takes a back seat to the Test Wars and amorous contretemps. The romantic polygons are many and complicated: loud-mouthed Shimizu likes Yoshii, who likes pretty, smart Himeji. Kubo, a guy in B Class, nurtures a secret crush on Yoshii. Everyone thinks Hideyoshi is a girl, despite his insistence he's a guy, but he has his own changing room, so who can be sure? The filmmakers include lots of fan-service jiggle shots and breast-size jokes: Yoshii and his friend get so many nosebleeds from lust, they must suffer from severe anemia. Things get uncomfortable when Akira, Yoshii's older sister, keeps coming on to him, but most of the humor is good-natured, if over the top. For maximum enjoyment, viewers should limit their intake of Baka and Test to one or two episodes at a time: too much in one sitting will quickly cloy. 5.0 out of 5 stars BAKA & TEST 4EVER!!!!!!!!, April 12, 2011

Long story short, Baka & Test is far and away the funniest anime since Excel Saga. The characters are all charming and well written, the comedy is rapid fire and effective, and the entire thing is an adredaline rush of laughter, action, and heart. I first watched this with my collage's anime club, and I highly reccomend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy this if you need a Laugh!, November 9, 2011

I sear this is one of the best anime's I have seen since, Black Butler. You will honestly, laugh so hard and I swear to you you will enjoy it. It's a little pricey but for some others, they like to wait a month so the price goes down. But if your dying to get something that will make you laugh, PLEASE BUY THIS!!!

They have a second season, that I watch on Hulu.com, but please like I said, It's great. And the story's characters are hilarious. It gets a little complicated, but if your like me, I tend to like short- easy to follow" animes. This is one of them!

    Hope this helps!!
